Please join Piddinghoe’s litter-picking team for THE ANNUAL C7 SPRING CLEAN!
Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 Feb. Meet at 10 am opposite Byways at the south end of the village.
Residents from all the villages along the C7 Lewes-Newhaven Road will be taking part in this mass litter pick. Extra pairs of hands will enable us to remove unsightly rubbish from the whole length of this road in this beautiful part of the South Downs National Park.
Lewes District Council is providing high viz vests, litter picking tools and bags. For safety reasons, we will only go where it is possible to stand safely on a verge. Participants should wear high visibility clothing, non-slip shoes, and gloves. Children will need to stay on the other side of the hedge or fence.
There will be prizes for the “Most Unusual Items Found” And the “Most Heroic Pickers”
