Balfour Beatty on behalf of East Sussex Highways will be carrying out repairs to the landslip on the west side of the C7 road south of Harping Hill from Thursday 18 June to Wednesday 1 July 2026, between 8 and and 4:30pm.
These works involve reinstating the verge using concrete bags and clearing vegetation. They will also be building a retaining wall and installing timber fencing to prevent issues in the future.
The works will be between Court House Farm and The Street. The road will remain open with two way temporary traffic lights in place for the duration of the works.
A temporary speed reduction from 50 to 30mph will also be in place for safety.
