East Sussex County Council has received funding from the Government for its Bus Service Improvement Plan.
As a result the two bus services serving Piddinghoe parish will enjoy increased frequency:
- The Compass Bus 123 between Newhaven and Lewes has a new two-hourly Sunday service – the full timetable is here.
- The Brighton & Hove Bus 14 service has now been restored to every 15 minutes between Peacehaven and Brighton Station during daytimes Monday to Saturday.
The £2 fare for any single ride also continues, at least until the end of October.
