The Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club has submitted a planning application to improve the facilities at Piddinghoe Pond.
The proposal involves the demolition of some parts of the existing club buildings and sheds, and extending and refurbishing other parts. The aim is to improve layout and access, creating modern changing and washroom amenities as well as additional storage.
According to the application, the proposed design, using natural materials such as timber structure and cladding, seeks to preserve the aesthetics of the area by enhancing the local character and natural landscape.
